There are tools now that summarize videos pretty well and are available to try out. I decided to try out two.

Summarize.tech provides time stamped text summaries in a simple interface.
It seems to do better with videos shorter than 30 minutes. I’ve tried 60 min videos and the summary never completes.
You’re allowed a limited number of videos to summarize a day but to have unlimited videos its $10/mo.

NoteGPT provides a transcript, time stamped summaries (with emoticons for some reason) and key insights.
NoteGPT appeared to process larger videos faster but the summary just seems to be the first part.
You can use it 15 times, then its $2.99 for 200 a day or other plans.
